Constituted Student Body

Welcome to the Constituted Student Body (VS) of Hohenheim!

All enrolled students are members of the student body. But many members of the student body make special efforts to work for the benefit of all students. These include in particular your elected AStA and StuPa representatives, the departmental student representatives, and those who are active in working groups and other organizations. This page will give you an overview of the work of these students, the basic organizational structure of the VS, and the opportunities for getting involved yourself.

The General Students Committee is the executive body of the Hohenheim student body. The chairperson of the General Student Committee represents the student body in public.

Here you can find lecture notes and materials of current lectures at the University of Hohenheim. The Skriptenbüro is managed by students for students.

The departmental student representatives are students of a specific study program or faculty who work to improve study conditions. Furthermore, they organize lectures and events.

The Office for Sports, Music, and Accommodation is responsible for looking after and promoting the intellectual, musical, and athletic interests of all students. You can find it on the first floor in the Alte Botanik building.

The Student Parliament (StuPa) is the highest decision-making body of the Constituted Student Body. It is comprised of 19 voting members who are elected once a year during the summer semester.

The TMS is the central location of student life in Hohenheim. Hosting a coffee bar, cultural events, and parties, the old building has served as a cultural and social meeting point since the 1970s. Today, it is once again managed by the VS.

Student groups enrich campus life and push the University forward. Their goals include cultural integration, lived faith, ecological, economic, or social issues, and political work.

We want to enrich cultural life at Hohenheim and create a platform for art, music, and fun. Every Tuesday starting at 7 p.m., the culture group opens the TMS for you. Every Thursday at 8 p.m., the AstA film group shows a movie in HS B1.
