Personnel Development for Scientific Areas

Strengthening Hohenheim as a lively and inspiring environment for teaching, research, and development   and creating optimal conditions for scientific excellence - those are the objectives of personnel development in scientific areas at the University of Hohenheim.

Setting up a Graduate Academy, founding the Core Facility, starting personnel development for postdocs: In recent years, important steps were made toward those objectives. A Personnel Development Plan passed by the committees serves to further systematize and structure all activities and creates a framework for action and guidance in qualification as well as professional and personal development of employees in the scientific areas. 

In the focus: Supporting early career researchers

Personnel development measures are concentrated in particular on supporting early career researchers, something on which the University of Hohenheim places great importance.

The Portal for Early Career Researchers bundles the university’s many different offers and information about qualification and career development for early career researchers in a central place, making them more visible.
