World Food Day Event 2024
Building Sustainable and Resilient Agri-Food Systems. Justus-von-Liebig Award for World Nutrition, Keynote Lectures, Global Hunger Index and Young Scientists Perspectives.
On the occasion of World Food Day on October 16, 2024, the Hans-Ruthenberg-Institute cordially invites to the “World Food Day Event” on the topic of “Building Sustainable and Resilient Agri-Food Systems”.
At the event, the “Justus-von-Liebig Award for World Nutrition” of the fiat panis foundation will be awarded to Dr. Agnes Kalibata, President of the renowned African agricultural organization AGRA.
The laudatory speech will be held by Prof. Dr. Joachim von Braun. The Welthungerhilfe organization will also present its Global Hunger Index 2024.
Lectures by renowned scientists and “Young Perspectives” on the future of global food systems are also part of the program.
