Sie interessieren sich für einen Auslandsstudienaufenthalt in Europa? Ab sofort können Sie sich in der Partnerdatenbank über die ausgeschriebenen Hochschulen für Aufenthalte in 2019/20 informieren. Sie können anhand Ihres Studienganges filtern und finden die für Sie in Frage kommenden Partnerhochschulen. Bitte informieren Sie sich außerdem in den Details der Partnerhochschulen über Voraussetzungen und mögliche weitere Einschränkungen.

Zielgruppe: Alle Studierenden der Universität Hohenheim, die ihr Grundstudium absolviert haben (ab dem 3. Semester im Bachelor).

Programmzweck: Die Austauschprogramme sollen Studierenden die Möglichkeit zu einem Auslandsstudienaufenthalt an einer Partnerhochschule in Europa bieten.

Leistungen: Studienplatz (für max. zwei Semester) im Rahmen eines Austauschprogramms an einer Partnerhochschule in Europa im Akademischen Jahr 2019/20. Erasmus+ Programmteilnehmer erhalten die Option sich auf einen Erasmus+ Zuschuss zu bewerben (Ausnahme: Schweiz à Swiss European Mobility Programm)

Bewerbungsunterlagen: Alle Dokumente müssen auf Englisch eingereicht werden. Ausnahme: Sie besuchen ausschließlich Kurse in der Landessprache, dann können die Unterlagen auf Deutsch eingereicht werden. Nachdem Sie das Bewerbungsformular ausgefüllt haben, laden Sie bitte folgende Dokumente hoch:

 

• Foto
• Lebenslauf (tabellarisch): beinhaltet Ihren akademischen und fachlichen Werdegang, sowie weitere relevante Informationen
• Motivationsschreiben: bezogen auf Ihre erste Präferenz, max. 6000 Zeichen inkl. Leerzeichen, eine fachbezogene Kurzbeschreibung Ihres Studienvorhabens, Studienziele während des Auslandsaufenthaltes (Studienschwerpunkte beschreiben, keine reine Kursauflistung) sowie Ihre persönliche Motivation für den Auslandsaufenthalt. Informieren Sie sich vorab über das Angebot der Partneruniversitäten (Internetseiten der Universitäten, Vorlesungskataloge)!
• Aktueller Notenspiegel ausdruckbar auf der HohCampus-Seite
• Ggf. Kopie Bachelorzeugnis (falls vorhanden auf Englisch, nicht beglaubigt)
• Nachweis der Sprachkenntnisse: spraz.uni-hohenheim.de/sprachkenntnisse-mobilitaetsprogramme

 

Bewerbungsfrist: 15.02.2019

Bewerbungsverfahren: Sie können sich ausschließlich online über Mobility-Online bewerben. Das Portal ist ab dem 01.02.2019 zur Bewerbung freigeschaltet. Zuerst müssen Sie sich registrieren, um eine neue Bewerbung anzulegen (diesen Schritt müssen Sie auch ausführen, wenn Sie sich zu einem früheren Zeitpunkt bereits über Mobility-Online beworben haben). Anschließend füllen Sie das Bewerbungsformular aus. Nachdem Sie das Bewerbungsformular ausgefüllt haben, laden Sie bitte alle erforderlichen Dokumente (s.h. Bewerbungsunterlagen) hoch. Wenn Sie alle benötigten Unterlagen hochgeladen bzw. die entsprechenden Angaben gemacht haben, können Sie die Bewerbung einreichen. Nur vollständige und fristgerecht eingereichte Bewerbungen werden in das Auswahlverfahren aufgenommen. Das Nachreichen von Unterlagen ist nicht möglich.

Auswahl- und Vergabekriterien: Die Auswahl wird vom jeweils zuständigen Gremium getroffen. Im Anschluss werden die ausgewählten Kandidaten an den jeweiligen Partnerhochschulen nominiert. Über die endgültige Zulassung entscheidet die Partnerhochschule. Die Auswahl erfolgt auf Grundlage der von Ihnen fristgerecht eingereichten Bewerbung in Mobility-Online. Kriterien für die Auswahl sind in erster Linie Ihre fachliche und akademische Eignung, sowie Ihre fachliche und persönliche Motivation für den geplanten Aufenthalt. Berücksichtigt wird außerdem zusätzliches Engagement. Die Auswahl der Austauschplätze erfolgt dabei über ein Ranking (erstellt anhand er genannten Kriterien) und unter Berücksichtigung der Vorgaben und Bedingungen der Partnerinstitution.

Voraussetzungen:

 

• Sie müssen regulär für einen Abschluss an der Universität Hohenheim immatrikuliert sein.
• Zum Antritt des Auslandssemesters müssen Sie das Grundstudium Ihres Studiengangs absolviert haben.
• Sie haben ihr Mobilitätskontingent (max. 12 Monate im gleichen Studienabschnitt (Bachelor/Master)) im Rahmen des Erasmus+ Programms noch nicht ausgeschöpft

 

Bitte beachten Sie außerdem, dass der Nachweis der notwendigen Sprachkenntnisse in der Hauptunterrichtssprache (und ggf. der Landessprache, abhängig von der Partnerhochschule) eine Grundvoraussetzung für eine Bewerbung darstellt und kein Auswahlkriterium. (siehe Partnerdatenbank; Änderungen vorbehalten).

Verpflichtungen der Programmteilnehmer:

 

• Einhaltung der jeweiligen Programmvorschriften (z.B. fristgerechte Einreichung aller im Programm verlangten Dokumente).
• Als Botschafter der Universität Hohenheim an der Partnerhochschule, sowie der jeweiligen Partnerhochschule und des Austauschprogramms an der Universität Hohenheim zu fungieren.
• Verpflichtende Teilnahme an der Informationsveranstaltung für Erasmus+ TeilnehmerInnen Ende April und der Farewell-Veranstaltung für Outgoings Anfang Juli 2019.

You are interested in an exchange study in Europe? From now on, you find the partner institutions for an exchange stay in the academic year 2019/20 in our partner universities database. You can search according to your study program and browse through the offer. Please pay attention to the details of the exchange and potential limitations.

Target Group: All students of the University of Hohenheim who finished their basic studies (3rd semester in Bachelor and above).

Purpose of the program: The exchange programs are intended to provide students with the opportunity to study abroad at a partner university in Europe .

Benefits: Exchange place (max. 2 semesters) at one of our partner universities in Europe in the academic year 2019/20. Erasmus+ participants have the option to apply for Erasmus+ financial support (Exception: Switzerland -> Swiss European Mobility Program).

Application documents: All documents must be submitted in English. Exception, if the national language is not English: If you only attend courses in the national language, the documents can be submitted in German. Following the completion of the application form, please upload the following documents:

 

• Photo
• CV (in tabular form): including your academic and professional background, awards (if any), social and societal commitment, personal interests as well as other relevant information
• Letter of motivation: based on your first preference, max. 6000 characters including spaces, a short subject-related description of your study plans, study goals during the stay abroad (describe the focus of your study plans, not a mere course listing) as well as your personal motivation for the stay abroad. Inform yourself, first of all, about the course offer of the partner university (website of the university, course catalogue)!
• Transcript of Records in English: download from your HohCampus-page
• Copy of Bachelor Certificate (only for graduate students): if available in English, not certified
• Language proficiency: spraz.uni-hohenheim.de/sprachkenntnisse-mobilitaetsprogramme

 

Application deadline: 15.02.2019  

Application procedure: You can solely apply online via Mobility-Online. The application portal is open as of February 1st, 2019. First, you have to register to create a new application (you must also carry out this step if you have used Mobility Online before). Then fill in the application form. After completing the application form, please upload all the required documents (see “Application documents”). Once you have uploaded all the required documents and provided the relevant information, you can submit the application. Only applications that are complete and submitted in time will be considered in the selection procedure. You cannot submit your documents later.  

Selection and Award Criteria: The selection is made by the responsible committee. Following a successful selection process, the chosen candidates will be nominated at the respective partner university. The partner university decides on the final admission. The selection is made on basis of the application you submitted in time on Mobility-Online. Criteria for selection are mainly your professional and academic competence, as well as your professional and personal motivation for the planned stay abroad. Additional engagement is also taken into account. The places for a stay abroad will be selected according to a ranking of the mentioned criteria, in consideration of the requirements and conditions from the partner universities.

Requirements:

 

• You must be legally enrolled as degree-seeking student at the University of Hohenheim.
•  At the start of the semester abroad, you must have completed the basic studies of your degree program.
• The mobility quota (max. 12 months in the same study cycle (Bachelor/Master)) in the Erasmus+ framework isn’t exhausted

 

In addition, please be aware, that the proof of the required language skills in the main language of instruction (and if necessary the national language, depending on the partner university) is a basic prerequisite for the application but not a selection criterion (see partner database, subject to change). 

Obligations of Participants:

 

• Compliance with the respective program regulations (for example the submission of all required documents in time)
• To act as an ambassador of the University of Hohenheim at the partner university, as well as represent the respective partner university and exchange program at the University of Hohenheim
• Mandatory participation in the information event for Erasmus+ participants in late April, as well as the Farewell Event for Outgoing students in the beginning of July 2019
