DAAD SDG Partnerships 2024-2027 [12.04.23]

Der DAAD fördert mit Mitteln des Bundesministeriums für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ) Hochschulpartnerschaften in Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)-relevanten Themenbereichen - auch im Bereich Gesundheit mit Fokus auf Pandemievorbeugung und -bekämpfung (in einer eigenen Förderlinie) - die zur nachhaltigen Entwicklung im Sinne der SDGs und zum Aufbau leistungsfähiger und weltoffener Hochschulen in den Partnerländern und in Deutschland beitragen. Im Rahmen der Förderung sollen an den Partnerinstitutionen die Lehre, die Forschung sowie das Hochschulmanagement strukturell gestärkt werden.
Bewerbungsschluss ist der 30. Juni 2023.

Es sind mehrere Anträge aus Hohenheim zu erwarten. Die Vorhaben sollten geographisch und thematisch abgegrenzt sein. Deshalb bitten wir Sie um eine kurze Meldung an das Akademische Auslandsamt, Frau Franziska Schenk (franziska.schenk@ua.uni-hohenheim.de), damit wir die Anträge koordinieren können. Für den jeweiligen Antrag muss sich ein: Fachgebietsleiter:in verantwortlich zeigen. Für die Unterschrift des Rektors auf dem Formular "Befürwortung der deutschen Hochschulleitung" wenden Sie sich bitte bis spätestens 23. Juni ebenfalls an Frau Schenk.

With funding from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the DAAD supports university partnerships in Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)-relevant thematic areas - also in the field of health with a focus on pandemic prevention and control (in a separate funding line) - that contribute to sustainable development in the sense of the SDGs and to the establishment of efficient and cosmopolitan universities in the partner countries and in Germany. As part of the funding, teaching, research and university management are to be structurally strengthened at the partner institutions.
The application deadline is June 30, 2023.

Several applications from Hohenheim are expected. The projects should be geographically and thematically delimited. Therefore, please send a short notification to the Office of International Affairs, Ms. Franziska Schenk (franziska.schenk@ua.uni-hohenheim.de), so that we can coordinate the applications. For the respective application a Head of Department must be responsible for the respective application. For the signature of the President on the form "Endorsement of the German University Management" please also contact Mrs. Schenk by June 23 at the latest.
