Im Rahmen der neuen Programmgeneration Erasmus ab 2021 fördert die Europäische Union voraussichtlich Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP).
Hierbei sollen kurze, intensive Lehr-Aktivitäten und Mobilitätscurricula entwickelt werden, welche durch das Erasmusprogramm eine Förderung erhalten können. Gefördert werden kurze, physische Gruppenmobilitäten von 5 bis 30 Tagen Dauer, kombiniert mit einer virtuellen Phase nicht definierter Dauer. Dies können zum Beispiel Sommerschulen, aber auch andere Veranstaltungen sein. An die Veranstaltung muss sich eine virtuelle Phase anschließen oder vorgeschaltet sein.
Voraussetzung ist die Teilnahme aus mindestens 3 Programmländern (d.h. also die UHOH und zwei weitere Hochschulen aus EU-Staaten oder an Erasmus teilnehmende Ländern wie z.B. Norwegen oder die Türkei).
Mindestteilnehmerzahl: 15 Studierende und/oder Hochschulmitarbeiter/innen
Für diese BIPs müssen mindestens 3 ECTS vergeben werden.
Förderumfang der BIPs sind (Stand 01.12.2020) Reisekostenzuschüsse für die Teilnehmer/innen (gemäß EU-Vorgabe) sowie max. 10.000 Euro Organisationsmittel (= Overhead). Die Organisationsmittel richten sich nach der Anzahl der Teilnehmer/innen.
Die BIPs werden zentral vom Akademischen Auslandsamt bei der Nationalen Agentur für das Erasmusprogramm, dem DAAD beantragt. Als Programmkoordination fungiert dann der/die Organisator/in des BIP. In Hohenheim können in der Regel (Junior-)Professoren/innen als Programmkoordinatoren/innen fungieren. Diese erhalten die Mittel zur Organisation und die Zuschüsse und sind für die Durchführung der BIPs im voraussichtlichen Zeitraum Juni 2021-Juli 2023 und (finanzielle) Abwicklung der BIP verantwortlich.
Damit ein BIP beantragt werden kann, bittet das Akademische Auslandsamt um Interessensbekundungen inkl. eines Titels des Programms bis zum 15.12.2020. Bitte beachten Sie: Aufgrund der politischen Diskussionen um den mehrjährigen Finanzrahmen der EU enthält das Erasmusprogramm ab 2021 noch sehr viele Unwägbarkeiten. Within the framework of the new Erasmus program generation from 2021, the European Union is expected to support Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP).
The aim is to develop short, intensive teaching activities and mobility curricula that can receive funding from the Erasmus program.
Short, physical group mobilities of 5 to 30 days duration are funded, combined with a virtual phase of undefined duration. These could be summer schools, for example, but also other events. The event must be followed or preceded by a virtual phase.
The prerequisite is the participation of at least 3 program countries (i.e. the UHOH and two other universities from EU countries or countries participating in Erasmus, such as Norway or Turkey).
Minimum number of participants: 15 students and/or university staff
At least 3 ECTS must be awarded for these BIPs.
The BIPs offer (as of 01.12.2020) travel grants for the participants (according to EU regulations) as well as a maximum of 10,000 Euro for organizational means (= overhead). The organizational resources depend on the number of participants.
The BIPs are applied for centrally by the Office of International Affairs at the National Agency for the Erasmus Program, the DAAD. The BIP's organizer then acts as program coordinator. In Hohenheim, (junior) professors can usually act as program coordinators. These receive the funds for the organisation and the grants and are responsible for the implementation of the BIPs in the expected period June 2021-July 2023 and (financial) processing of the BIPs.
