Neue Ausschreibung für Postdocs: DAAD PRIME 2023/24 [19.05.23]

Mit Mitteln des Bundesministeriums für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) und der Europäischen Union (FP7/Marie Curie Actions/COFUND) hat der DAAD 2014 das Förderprogramm „Postdoctoral Researchers International Mobility Experience“ (PRIME) initiiert und unterstützt seitdem die internationale Mobilität in der Postdoktorandenphase durch befristete Stellen an deutschen Hochschulen anstelle traditioneller Stipendien. Die Förderung umfasst eine 12-monatige Auslandsphase und eine sechsmonatige Integrationsphase an einer deutschen Hochschule, an der die Geförderten über den gesamten Förderzeitraum als Postdoktoranden angestellt sind.
Die Zielgruppe des Programms sind Postdoktorandinnen und Postdoktoranden (aller Nationalitäten), die ihre berufliche Laufbahn langfristig in Deutschland sehen.
Kontakte zu vorgesehenen ausländischen Gastgebenden und zur deutschen Gasthochschule sind von den Bewerbenden selbst herzustellen. Bewerbungsfrist für Aufenthalte ab Juni 2024 ist der 31. August 2023. With funding from the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the European Union (FP7/Marie Curie Actions/COFUND), the DAAD initiated the "Postdoctoral Researchers International Mobility Experience" (PRIME) funding program in 2014 and has since supported international mobility in the postdoctoral phase through temporary positions at German universities instead of traditional scholarships. The funding comprises a 12-month phase abroad and a six-month integration phase at a German university, where the grantees are employed as postdocs for the entire funding period.
The program's target group is postdoctoral fellows (of all nationalities) who see their long-term professional career in Germany. Contacts to intended foreign host institutions and to the German host university have to be established by the applicants themselves. The application deadline for stays starting in June 2024 is August 31, 2023.
