Sie interessieren sich für einen Auslandsstudienaufenthalt in Europa? Ab sofort können Sie sich in der Partnerdatenbank über die ausgeschriebenen Hochschulen für Aufenthalte im Akademischen Jahr 2023/24 informieren. Bitte informieren Sie sich in den Details der Partnerhochschulen über Voraussetzungen und mögliche weitere Einschränkungen.

Zielgruppe: Alle Studierenden der Universität Hohenheim, die ihr Grundstudium absolviert haben (ab dem 3. Semester im Bachelor).

Programmzweck: Die Austauschprogramme bieten Studierenden die Möglichkeit zu einem Auslandsstudienaufenthalt an einer Partnerhochschule in Europa.

Leistungen:  Studienplatz (für 2-12 Monate) im Rahmen eines Austauschprogramms - Erasmus+ Programm, Swiss European Mobility Program (SEMP) oder Bilaterales Austauschprogramm - an einer Partnerhochschule in Europa im Akademischen Jahr 2023/24.

Studierende, die sich für ein Erasmus+ Austauschprogramm bewerben, können im Rahmen dieser Austauschplatzbewerbung einen Antrag auf Erasmus+ Zuschuss stellen. Weitere Informationen zur Vergabe des Erasmus+ Zuschusses finden Sie in der Meldung zum Erasmus+ Projekt 2022 in den AA-News.

Weitere Information zu dem SEMP Stipendium erhalten Austauschstudierende mit einem Austauschplatz in der Schweiz direkt von Ihrer Gasthochschule.

Hinweis: Das Akademisches Auslandsamt der Universität Hohenheim empfiehlt des Weiteren Reise- und Sicherheitshinweise der zuständigen Behörden in Deutschland (Auswärtiges Amt) und ggf. des Heimatlandes sowie des Ziellandes unbedingt zu befolgen und ggf. eine vereinbarte physische Mobilität nicht anzutreten.

Der Teilnehmer absolviert eine Mobilität zu jeder Zeit auf eigene Verantwortung und eigene Kosten sowie unter Kenntnisnahme der oben beschriebenen Empfehlungen des Akademischen Auslandsamtes der Universität Hohenheim.

 

Bewerbungsunterlagen: Alle Dokumente müssen auf Englisch eingereicht werden. Ausnahme, falls die Landesprache nicht Englisch ist: Wenn Sie ausschließlich Kurse in der Landessprache besuchen, können die Unterlagen auf Deutsch eingereicht werden.

  • Academic Statement pro angegebene Priorität ist ein Academic Statement (max. 2000 Zeichen*) in Mobility-Online auszufüllen. Sollte für eine angegebene Priorität kein Academic Statement eingereicht werden, gilt die Bewerbung für die entsprechende Priorität als unvollständig; d.h. die entsprechend angegebene Priorität wird im Bewerbungsverfahren nicht berücksichtigt.  

     

    • erste Priorität (max. 2000 Zeichen*, Fließtext - keine Briefform): Fachbezogene Begründung mit Studienzielen (Studienschwerpunkte, keine Kursauflistung) für den Auslandsaufenthalt an der der gewünschten Hochschule (1.Priorität) sowie Ihre persönliche Motivation für den Auslandsaufenthalt

    • Green Mobility (max. 2000 Zeichen*): Wie wollen Sie Ihre Erasmus Mobilität grüner und nachhaltiger gestalten und dadurch zu den Klimazielen der EU beitragen? Wie können Sie den ökologischen Fußabdruck Ihrer Mobilität reduzieren und welchen Beitrag können Sie, durch Ihre Mobilität, im gesellschaftlichen Wandel hin zu einer nachhaltigen europäischen Gesellschaft leisten?

     

  • Civic Engagement Statement

     

    • Civic Engagement (Bürgerschaftliches Engagement) (max. 2000 Zeichen*): Wie wollen Sie im Rahmen Ihrer Mobilität in Europa durch bürgerschaftliches Engagement dazu beitragen, die europäischen Werte (lt. Artikel 2 des Vertrages über die Europäische Union) und eine europäische Identität zu fördern? Informieren Sie sich vor der Bewerbung über das Angebot der Partneruniversitäten (Internetseiten der Universitäten, Vorlesungskataloge, Partnerdatenbank)!

Der Lebenslauf soll zugeschnitten auf den Auslandsaufenthalt sein und uns ein Bild von Ihnen als Person vermitteln.

• Kopie Bachelorzeugnis inkl. Notenspiegel (pdf-Upload): (nur für Master-Studierende) falls vorhanden auf Englisch, nicht beglaubigt.

 

 

 

• Nachweis der Sprachkenntnisse (Online-Formular mit pdf-Uplaod): gültiger Sprachnachweis in der Hauptunterrichtssprache; ggf. auch gültiger Sprachnachweis in einer weiteren Unterrichtssprache bzw. Landessprache. Bitte beachten Sie die Mindestvorgaben für Austauschstudierende der Gasthochschulen bei Sprachkenntnissen und deren Nachweise in der Partnerdatenbank (Angaben ohne Gewähr). Außerdem muss der Sprachnachweis zum Zeitpunkt der Bewerbung an der Gasteinrichtung noch gültig sein. Sollte die Gültigkeit auf dem Nachweis nicht explizit ausgewiesen sein, gilt der Sprachnachweis maximal zwei Jahre. Alle akzeptierten Sprachnachweise sind in der Meldung in den AA-News: Nachweis der Sprachkenntnisse für Austauschprogramme zu Studienzwecken an der UHOH aufgelistet.

Bewerbungsverfahren: Sie bewerben sich ausschließlich online über Mobility-Online. Das Portal ist ab dem 01.02.2023 zur Bewerbung freigeschaltet. Zuerst müssen Sie sich registrieren, um eine neue Bewerbung anzulegen (diesen Schritt müssen Sie auch ausführen, wenn Sie sich zu einem früheren Zeitpunkt bereits über Mobility-Online beworben haben). Wenn Sie alle benötigten Unterlagen hochgeladen bzw. die entsprechenden Angaben gemacht haben, können Sie die Bewerbung einreichen. Nur vollständige und fristgerecht eingereichte Bewerbungen werden in das Auswahlverfahren aufgenommen. Das Nachreichen von Unterlagen ist nicht möglich.

Auswahl- und Vergabekriterien: Die Auswahl wird vom jeweils zuständigen Gremium getroffen. Im Anschluss werden die ausgewählten Kandidaten/innen an den jeweiligen Partnerhochschulen nominiert. Über die endgültige Zulassung entscheidet die Partnerhochschule. Die Auswahl erfolgt auf Grundlage der von Ihnen fristgerecht eingereichten Bewerbung in Mobility-Online. Kriterien für die Auswahl sind in erster Linie Ihre fachliche und akademische Eignung, sowie Ihre fachliche und persönliche Motivation für den geplanten Aufenthalt. Berücksichtigt wird außerdem zusätzliches Engagement. Die Auswahl der Austauschplätze erfolgt dabei über ein Ranking (erstellt anhand der genannten Kriterien) und unter Berücksichtigung der Vorgaben und Bedingungen der Partnerinstitution.

Voraussetzungen: 

 

• Sie müssen zum Zeitpunkt der Bewerbung und während der gesamten Mobilität regulär für einen Abschluss an der Universität Hohenheim immatrikuliert sein.
• Zum Antritt des Auslandssemesters müssen Sie das Grundstudium Ihres Studiengangs absolviert haben.
• Sie haben Ihr Mobilitätskontingent (max. 12 Monate im gleichen Studienabschnitt (Bachelor/Master)) im Rahmen des Erasmus+ Programms noch nicht ausgeschöpft.

 

  Verpflichtungen der Programmteilnehmer/innen: 

 

• Einhaltung der jeweiligen Programmvorschriften (z.B. fristgerechte Einreichung aller im Programm verlangten Dokumente).
• Als Botschafter der Universität Hohenheim an der Partnerhochschule, sowie der jeweiligen Partnerhochschule und des Austauschprogramms an der Universität Hohenheim zu fungieren.
• Verpflichtende Teilnahme an 

 

• dem Erasmus Kick Off Event für Erasmus+ / Erasmus Programmteilnehmer/innen
• der Farewell-Veranstaltung für Outgoings (Termine werden noch bekannt gegeben)

ENGLISH Version

Are you interested in studying abroad in Europe? From now on, you can find out about the universities advertised for stays in the academic year 2023/24 in the partner database. You can filter by your degree programme and find the partner universities that are suitable for you. Please also refer to the details of the partner universities for information on prerequisites and possible further restrictions.

Target group: All students of the University of Hohenheim who have completed their basic studies (from the 3rd semester in the Bachelor).

Programme purpose: The exchange programmes are intended to offer students the opportunity to study abroad at a partner university in Europe.

Benefits: Study place (for 2-12 months) in an exchange programme - Erasmus+ Programme, Swiss European Mobility Program (SEMP) or Bilateral exchange - at a partner university in Europe in the academic year 2023/24.

Students applying for an Erasmus+ exchange programme can apply for an Erasmus+ grant as part of this exchange place application. For more information on the awarding of the Erasmus+ grant, please see the Erasmus+ Project 2022 notification in the AA-News.

Exchange students with an exchange place in Switzerland can obtain further information about the SEMP scholarship directly from their host university.

Please note: The Office of International Affairs of the University of Hohenheim also recommends that you strictly follow the travel and safety instructions of the responsible authorities in Germany (Federal Foreign Office) and, if applicable, in your home country and the country of destination and, if necessary, that you do not take up an agreed physical mobility.

The participant completes a mobility at any time on his/her own responsibility and at his/her own expense and taking note of the recommendations of the International Office of the University of Hohenheim described above.

Application documents: All documents must be submitted in English. Exception if the national language is not English: If you attend courses exclusively in the national language, the documents can be submitted in German.

  • Academic Statement  For each priority stated, a letter of motivation (max. 2000 characters*) must be completed in Mobility-Online. If no letter of motivation is submitted for a priority stated, the application for the priority in question is considered incomplete, i.e. the priority stated will not be considered in the application process.

     

    • 1st priority (max. 2000 characters*, continuous text - no letter form): Subject-related justification with study objectives (study focus, no course listing) for the stay abroad at the desired university (1st priority) as well as your personal motivation for the stay abroad.
    • if 2nd priority stated (max. 2000 characters*, continuous text - no letter form): Subject-related justification with study objectives (study focus, no course listing) for the stay abroad at the desired university (2nd priority) as well as your personal motivation for the stay abroad.
    • if 3rd priority named (max. 2000 characters*, continuous text - no letter form): Subject-related justification with study objectives (study focus, no course listing) for the stay abroad at the desired university (3rd priority) as well as your personal motivation for the stay abroad.

     

  • Green Mobility Statement

     

    • Green Mobility (max. 2000 characters*): How will you make your Erasmus mobility greener and more sustainable, contributing to the EU's climate goals? How can you reduce the environmental footprint of your mobility and what contribution can you make, through your mobility, in the societal change towards a sustainable European society?

     

  • Civic Engagement Statement

     

    • Civic Engagement (max. 2000 characters*): How do you intend to contribute to promote European values (according to Article 2 of the Treaty on European Union) and a European identity through civic engagement during your mobility in Europe? Before applying, find out what the partner universities have to offer (university websites, course catalogues, partner database)!

The CV should be tailored to the stay abroad and give us a picture of you as a person.

• Copy of Bachelor's degree certificate incl. transcript of records (pdf upload): (only for Master students) if available in English, not certified.

 

 

 

• Proof of language skills (online form with pdf-uplaod): valid proof of language skills in the main language of instruction; if applicable, also valid proof of language skills in another language of instruction or national language. Please note the minimum requirements for exchange students of the host universities regarding language skills and their proof in the partner database (information without guarantee). In addition, the language certificate must still be valid at the time of application to the host institution. If the validity is not explicitly stated on the certificate, the language certificate is valid for a maximum of two years. All accepted language certificates are listed in the announcement in the AA-News: Proof of language proficiency for exchange programs for study purposes at UHOH.

 

 

• Erasmus+ grant application (online form): Please note the notifications in the AA News for the Erasmus+ Project 2022.

 

 

Application deadline: 15.02.2023, 12 p.m CET (noon)

 

Application procedure: You can solely apply online via Mobility-Online. The application portal is open as of February 1, 2023. First, you have to register to create a new application (you must also carry out this step if you have used Mobility Online before). Then fill in the application form. After completing the application form, please upload all the required documents (see “Application documents”). Once you have uploaded all the required documents and provided the relevant information, you can submit the application. Only applications that are complete and submitted in time will be considered in the selection procedure. You cannot submit your documents later.

Selection and Award Criteria: The selection is made by the responsible committee. Following a successful selection process, the chosen candidates will be nominated at the respective partner university. The partner university decides on the final admission. The selection is made on basis of the application you submitted in time on Mobility-Online. Criteria for selection are mainly your professional and academic competence, as well as your professional and personal motivation for the planned stay abroad. Additional engagement is also taken into account. The places for a stay abroad will be selected according to a ranking of the mentioned criteria, in consideration of the requirements and conditions from the partner universities.

The selection and award criteria for the Erasmus+ grant can be found in the notifications in the AA News for the Erasmus+ Project 2022.

Requirements:

 

• You must be regularly enrolled for a degree at the University of Hohenheim at the time of application and during the entire mobility.
• You must have completed the basic studies of your degree programme before starting the semester abroad.
• You have not yet exhausted your mobility quota (max. 12 months in the same study section (Bachelor/Master)) within the Erasmus+ programme.

 

Obligations of the programme participants:

 

• To comply with the respective programme regulations (e.g. timely submission of all documents required by the programme).
• To act as ambassadors of the University of Hohenheim at the partner university, as well as of the respective partner university and the exchange programme at the University of Hohenheim.
• Obligatory participation in

   

  • the Erasmus Kick Off Event for Erasmus+ / Erasmus Programme participants
  • the Farewell Event for outgoings (dates to be announced)
