QS Subject Ranking

No. 1 in Germany, No. 16 Globally  [18.03.20]

The renowned QS World University Ranking by Subject ranks the University of Hohenheim among the top universities worldwide in the field of agricultural research. In the edition published today, Hohenheim is ranked 16th worldwide, 8th in Europe, and 1st in Germany.

 

The QS World University Ranking by Subject carried out by the British education provider QS Quacquarelli Symonds focuses on research strength. It surveys factors such as academic reputation, publications and citations of individual publications, and the reputation of graduates with employers. This year, the ranking examined a total of 48 subjects.

The University of Hohenheim traditionally scores points in the field of agricultural and forestry sciences. On the world ranking list of 400 universities, Hohenheim is in 16th place (previous year: 15th place), in a European comparison it is again in 8th place.
