Lecture halls as learning spaces

Did you already know? In order to create additional workspaces for students, the rule now applies that lecture halls that are not in use may be officially used by students during the lecture period.

Registration is not necessary. However, the following points should be noted:

  • The lecture halls in the Biology Building, including the Ökozentrum Building and Audimax, are exempt from the regulation and therefore cannot be used for studying.
  • You can check whether a lecture hall is free on the occupancy plan next to the door or in advance online using the occupancy plan in HohCampus.
  • Sometimes rooms are booked at short notice: Therefore, you’ll need to remain flexible.
  • The lecture halls must be left as you find them. This also applies to the arrangement of the tables/chairs. Only then can the new regulation remain in place permanently.
  • Unfortunately, the lecture halls are not available for studying during the lecture-free period.
