Office of International Affairs (AA)

The Office of International Affairs is the point of reference for questions relating to the internationalization at the University of Hohenheim. The department is assigned to the Vice-President for International Affairs and is part of the university administration.

Student Mobility

The University of Hohenheim offers exchange places, scholarships and funding opportunities for incoming and outgoing students. The Office of International Affairs provides advice on staying abroad during studies and coordinates numerous scholarship and exchange programs.

International Students

The University of Hohenheim offers international study programmes in English and double-degree options. The Office of International Affairs is the first point of contact for the admission and support of degree-seeking students from abroad.


Internationally Mobile Researchers

International mobility of (young) scientists is a prerequisite for research cooperation. The Office of International Affairs advises international and Hohenheim researchers on this.

Language Center

The Language Center at the Office of International Affairs offers students and employees the opportunity to acquire recognized additional qualifications in English, German as a foreign language and many other languages.


International Cooperations and Networks

The University of Hohenheim is globally networked in research and teaching. The Office of International Affairs maintains international university partnerships and coordinates a strategic network with the Euroleague for Life Sciences.

Refugees and At-Risk Scientists

It is a self-evidence for the University of Hohenheim to enable refugees to (re)commence their studies or scientific work. The Office of International Affairs provides advice and support.
