Support courses

Bachelor's degree programs require certain fundamentals in mathematics and chemistry in order to successfully follow the content of the degree program. To help you get started with modules in mathematics and chemistry and to help answer your questions, we offer courses and tutorials for new students – both before and during the first semester.

Overview of Studies

University studies require more independence and initiative than is needed at school. In addition, things run differently from university to university. We would like to accompany you on your way at the University of Hohenheim and support you with lectures, workshops, videos, and learning materials - for a successful study experience.

Flexible design of studies

    The Hohenheim user account is your personal key to internet, email, intranet, ILIAS, and many other services.
  • Curricula
    Information about modules, coursework, and examinations in your study program.
  • Semester dates
    All information about semester breaks, lecture times, important deadlines, and dates.
  • Central e-learning system (ILIAS)
    Via the learning platform ILIAS, you can access course material and event content online and communicate with other students and lecturers.
  • WiFi
    Information on internet access at the University of Hohenheim.
  • Learning spaces
    You will find working environments with different equipment and group workstations at various locations on campus.
