“Competence-oriented teaching - what does that mean? Of specialist knowledge, learning objectives and application” is the motto of the third Hohenheim Day of Teaching. We are putting together an exciting program for you that invites you to join in the discussion and help shape the future of studies. Get into conversation with your colleagues about good teaching, be inspired, or contribute ideas to further develop teaching at the University of Hohenheim. The Hohenheim Day of Teaching will take place on Friday, 13 December from 1:00 p.m. until approx. 5:45 p.m.

Overview

Prof. Dr. Taiga Brahm is the keynote speaker of this year’s Hohenheim Day of Teaching. The Dean of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences at the University of Tübingen will speak on “Courage for change in teaching: Future skills in university development,” focusing in particular on the challenges and added value of skills-oriented teaching and university development. Taiga Brahm's research focuses on the development of learners' skills.

The “Hohenheim Teaching Award Winner 2024,” Junior Professor Dr. Chang Liu, will also have his say and the Baden-Württemberg Certificates for University Didactics will be awarded to the successful graduates.

The program will be led by Dr. Lisberg-Haag, workshop leader, diversity auditor, and speaker. She puts together and moderates high-profile workshops, conferences, dialog-oriented formats, and workshops on research and higher education policy issues.
