EU Framework Program

Horizon Europe is the 9th EU Research and Innovation Framework Program of the European Union. It is one of the largest funding programs for research and development in the world. The contents are oriented towards important societal questions such as health, sustainable development, and digital transition. One key objective is to fuel scientific excellence in Europe.

The EU Research and Innovation Framework Program aims to facilitate cooperation in transnational projects – both European and global. The current EU Framework Program rests on three pillars. They are "Excellent Science", "Global Challenges and European Industrial Competitiveness", and "Innovative Europe".
