EU funding

Through its funding programs, the European Union supports research, development, and innovation.

Horizon Europe” is the 9th EU Framework Program for Research and Innovation for the years 2021 to 2027.

Besides funding scientific excellence (bottom up), the framework programs set political priorities (top down) and preferentially fund projects that have a corresponding added value (impact) .

Some of the selection procedures are highly competitive, require internal collaborations, and are based in part on detailed work programs.
Various support options are therefore available to you for successful application and participation.
We highly recommend using these services.

We regularly organize information events with experts on EU funding.

Legal support

We are happy to support and advise you regarding the preparation and negotiation of the Consortium Agreement (CA) for your EU collaborative projects. These regulate, among other things, the governance and financial structure among coordinators and project partners, IP rights, publications, and confidentiality.

Research centers

The research centers of the University of Hohenheim offer expert advice regarding the relevant programs and developments within the framework programs and actively support project development in their respective research areas.
The centers offer valuable starting points for the networking necessary for a promising collaborative application.
The centers themselves support and take on the coordination of Europe-wide collaborative research projects.
