At the Bachelor’s Info Day, you will receive all the important information you need to choose a degree program and can ask any questions you may have about studying. Come join us and get to know the university!

You want to get to know one of the most beautiful campus in the country? Then this is the right place for you! Students of the University of Hohenheim will show you around the campus, tell you all kinds of interesting facts, and you can ask all your questions about student life and studying in Hohenheim.


12 noon - 1 p.m. | All information about studying at the University of Hohenheim | Aula

We will introduce you to our university and give you an overview of the programs offered. There will also be information on housing options and student financing. You will find out all the important dates on the way to your studies at the University of Hohenheim and, of course, we will answer all your questions.


1:00 - 1:30 p.m. | Stays abroad during your studies | Balcony room

Find out how you can integrate a stay abroad into your studies at the University of Hohenheim. Whether you want to study abroad for a semester or do an internship, both offer you opportunities to gain unique experiences and learn about new cultures and languages.


1:30 - 2:00 p.m. | Orientation: How do I find the right degree program for me? | Balcony room

You want to study, but are still unsure what exactly? Here you will find information on the topic of study orientation and how to find the right degree program for you.


3:00 - 4:00 p.m. | Applying to the University of Hohenheim and the DoSV | Balcony room

Find out everything you need to know about the application process at the University of Hohenheim and what you need to know about the degree programs with a limited number of spaces that are part of the Dialog-Oriented Service Procedure (DoSV). 

Business, economics and social science programs


1:00 - 2:00 p.m. | Sustainability & Change | HS 4

Do you want to make the economy sustainable? This business degree program focuses on the sustainable management of companies and organizations with the aim of ensuring the future viability of the economy and society.


2:00 - 3:00 p.m. | Digital Business Management | HS 4

Assist with the digital transformation in companies. The program includes economic and social science elements as well as technological competences that prepare you for managing the digital transformation of companies and markets as well as for managing companies in a digitalized economy.


3:00 - 4:00 p.m. | Business Administration and Economics | HS 4

In Business Administration and Economics, you can link skills in economics and business with social science and legal issues, and you can specialize in many different areas. 


4:00 - 5:00 p.m. | Education for Business and Economics | Balkony room

Combine business, economic, educational, and pedagogical-psychological contents. 


4:00 - 5:00 p.m. | Communication Science | Aula

You want to learn what effects media has and how the German media system works? You want to specialize in areas like political communication, media psychology, or online communication? And you want to learn how to plan, conduct, and evaluate a survey or a content analysis yourself? Then this is the right program for you!


4 - 5 p.m. | Information Systems | HS 4

Make companies fit for the future. Learn how developing and applying information and communication technologies contributes to the efficient handling of business processes in the economy.

Natural science degree programs


1:00 - 2:00 p.m. | Food Chemistry | HS 1

The program is offered in cooperation with the University of Stuttgart. Food chemistry is a discipline of chemistry that is committed to consumer protection and contributes to the safe handling of food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and other consumer goods.


2:00 - 3:00 p.m. | Biology & Biology (State certified teacher program for secondary schools) | HS 1

Discover the world of biology as an innovation engine that deals with the complex phenomena of life and delivers important research results. 

The Biology teacher program offers you basic training combined with exciting project work in biological institutes, research cooperation projects, and interdisciplinary courses.


3:00 - 4:00 p.m. | Food Science and Biotechnology | HS 1

“The Taste of Science”: Discover the secrets of our food in an interdisciplinary program and help shape the nutrition of the future.


4:00 - 5:00 p.m. | Nutritional Science | HS 1

Research and understand the effect of food ingredients on the complex regulatory mechanisms of the body and on health. 

Agricultural science degree programs


1:00 - 2:00 p.m. | Agricultural Biology | Aula

Optimize global agricultural systems – for more food safety, sustainability, and social acceptance.


2:00 - 3:00 p.m. | Biobased Products and Bioenergy | Aula

Explore the production of various products from biomass, generating bioenergy, and assessing the sustainability of the entire value chain, from the field to the end product. 


3:00 - 4:00 p.m. | Agricultural Sciences | Aula

Learn to understand, evaluate, and develop interrelationships in agricultural production – assessing ecological and economic effects and identifying problems and challenges.
