Biodiversity Day at Germany's Most Biodiverse Campus  [11.06.13]

15th June 2013 from 10:00 – midnight: What's creeping and crawling around the campus? A hands-on event for students and staff of the university and the State Museum of Natural History Stuttgart, hobby biologists and local residents.

Everybody who loves nature and would enjoy experiencing the diversity of species at our doorstep is welcome. Biodiversity Day is about finding as many plant and animal species within a self-selected area over the course of 24 hours. The target: to tally 1,000 species on the university campus with the help of zoologists, botanists and landscape ecologists of the University of Hohenheim and the State Museum of Natural History Stuttgart.
Meeting point: Saturday, 15th June 2013, starting 10:00 Uhr, Hohenheim Palace, south entrance.
