Pulling Together: EU Network seeks to stop wasting of food

Approximately half of all the food produced world-wide lands in the rubbish, even though ist still quite edible. The disjointed efforts of various groups to date to stop the squandering of food is being countered by the new project FUSIONS, of which the Life Science Center of the University of Hohenheim is a part. The goal is to get everyone on board. 

Win-Win Project: Business students learn from the street newspaper "Trott-war"

A diamond in the rough. That's the assessment of an intense analysis of the street newspaper "Trott-war" by business students. For 3 months, 12 marketing students sifted through various aspects of the papers sales, marketing and distribution processes. The insights gained by the students are now to be put to use for the paper in order to boost its revenue. Catch the press conference on Friday, March 30th.

1st Annual South German Tick Convention: "Ticks are the most dangerous animals in Germany"

When it comes to insects which cause illness in Germany, the tick is unrivalled. That is the summa summarum of the first annual press conference which was held in Hohenheim on March 21st & 22nd.
