Exam Registration and Cancellation

You must register for each final module examination. Registration is also required even if the examination is not a written or oral examination.

Exam Registration

Examination registration is done online using HohCampus in the “Study planner”.

Registration is possible for the first or second examination period.

You may only register during the registration period. You can find the registration deadlines for the individual examination dates in the “Study planner".

In general, the registration period ends:

approx. 6 ½ weeks before the examination period for the first examination period.
7 days before the block ends for exams for blocked modules.
7 days before the examination date for the second examination period.
If no examination date is known, the period ends 7 days before the start of the second examination period.

Late registration is not possible!

When registering for the exam, you make a binding decision about the area to which the module is assigned (elective, semi-elective, profile, additional, etc.). Information about whether it is possible to make changes to the module assignments can be found on the degree program websites.

Note: If you take an exam without registering, this exam is considered not to have been taken!

Information for Students in the Bachelor's Programs in the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences:

You can only register for the first examination in the specialization period if you have had an advising session. After the advising session you will receive documentation that you will need to register for the exam.

Canceling Your Registration for an Exam

You can cancel exams for which you have registered up to seven days before the exam.

After that, it is only possible to withdraw. It does not matter whether it is your first attempt at the examination or whether you want to cancel your registration for a re-take exam.

For technical reasons, it is often not possible to cancel examinations in the second examination period online. If you want to cancel your registration for an exam in the second examination period, send an email to the Examinations Office stating your matriculation number and the examination you want to cancel.

After canceling your registration, you will not be automatically re-registered.
