Over the last few years, it has become apparent that it is becoming increasingly difficult to get people excited about science. While the issues are becoming increasingly complex and the information overload of today is difficult to navigate, the population's disenchantment with science and politics is on the rise.
So how can people get excited about science again? What tools are available to scientists for this purpose, and are there already promising approaches?
