What will happen with your flat in Germany? Will you terminate the lease or find an interim tenant?
Think about opening a bank account in the foreign country.
Make sure you have health insurance for the foreign country.
If necessary, redirect your mail (to your parents, good friends).
Check whether your passport is still valid.
If necessary, get a visa / work permit.
