TestDaF - Test German as a Foreign Language

Since January 2008, the Language Center has been operating as a licensed TestDaF examination center.

Next exam date in Hohenheim

In Hohenheim we will no longer offer dates for the paper-based TestDaF in the future. The next date for the digital TestDaF is 10 November 2022. The exam starts at 9:30 a.m.

Registration is possible from 5 Oct to 2 Nov exclusively online on the pages of the TestDaF Institute. Anyone can register for this examination date at the University of Hohenheim; you do not have to attend a preparatory course.

TestDaF is a central and worldwide standardized test for German as a foreign language

for those who are interested in studying in Germany and need proof of their German language skills,
for students who have to prove their German language skills in their home country,
for researchers who are planning a stay at a university in Germany and want to check their language level,
for everyone who has to prove their knowledge of German for academic professions,
for students who come to Germany to study through European Union programs and want to acquire a qualified language certificate at the end of their stay.
