To promote, network, and give ideas to the Hohenheim bicycling community, in November the University will appoint a volunteer bicycle representative. The bicycle representative will work together with the new coordination officer for mobility (see project “emission-free campus”).
The bicycle representative will act as a representative for cyclists and can, for example, organize special events. In addition, the University aims to become certified as a bicycle-friendly employer by ADFC.
The bicycle representative will accompany the certification process and the necessary measures such as accessible showers, sufficient high-quality parking spots, and setting up a bicycle homepage.
