HPLC-MS and HPLC-NMR online and offline analyses, including online HPLC-bioassays were employed to examine the bioactive products isolated from Jasminum subtriplinerve and Terminalia macroptera. Bioactive products obtained from T. macroptera include isoterchebulin, 4,6-O-isoterchebuloyl-D-glucose, hexadecamethyl ether, nonamethylisoterchebulic acid di-Me ester, and dimethyl-(S)-hexamethoxydiphenoate. Bioactive products obtained from J. subtriplinerve include terpene glycoside, anatolioside, 6"'-epi-anatolioside A, chevangin A and B, 6-epi-chevangin B and chevangin C and D.
