With the Germany Scholarship, the German government supports your commitment to particularly talented students. You support our talented young people, improve students' study and living conditions, and make a significant contribution to building a scholarship culture in Germany.
Join us and assist the University of Hohenheim in supporting talented young people during their studies by donating scholarships.
Who can fund a scholarship?
In principle, any business enterprise, foundation, association, alumni, or private individual can donate one or more scholarships. Who funds scholarships?
The following funding options are available:
- You sponsor one or more students for at least one year with € 150 per month (€ 1800 per year).
- If you sponsor at least five students, you can give the endowed scholarships their own name that you can then present to the public for promotional purposes.
- You can sponsor scholarships between one and three years (standard period of study).
- For private individuals, the university has set up a fund into which sponsorship contributions of as little as €10 can be paid. A donation of €1800 can co-finance one annual scholarship each.
What advantages does this have for you?
- You can define selection criteria, participate in the selection process in an advisory capacity, and support the scholars you sponsor from the very beginning.
- You can use the scholarship program as a new form of recruitment. In this way, you get in touch with talented young people at an early stage.
- You support students at an early point during their studies and thus create an interesting exchange with prospects for your company.
- The program allows scope for the promotion of very different profiles. You can also make the scholarship commitment for a specific faculty or department.
- Cooperation in the area of study support offers the opportunity to establish more in-depth contacts with the University of Hohenheim.
- If you wish, you will be mentioned on the homepage of the university in a way that allows you to promote your business, and there is the possibility to have the handing over of the scholarships take place in a ceremonial setting.
- Study support is also suitable as an element of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activities. Your commitment to students allows you to demonstrate your special dedication to the public and express this in the naming of the scholarships you endow.
- Because of the manageable minimum amount, the Germany Scholarship offers interesting opportunities for medium-sized companies in particular to expand their contacts with universities and students.
- Your commitment to student support is recognized as a non-profit activity and is tax-deductible.
