Professor Dr. Walther Bolz was a surgeon and outstanding veterinarian and veterinary scientist in research, teaching, and practice and made great achievements for veterinary medicine in Hohenheim. To continue his life’s work, his family decided to offer the Professor Dr. Walther Bolz Award for excellent achievements in the area of veterinary research.
Graduates of veterinary sciences and veterinary medicine who wrote a final thesis on basic scientific research or to promote veterinary medicine
with a focus on animal well-being or animal protection that was completed with honors may apply.
The Professor Dr. Walther Bolz Award comes with € 5,000 and is divisible.
