Delta examination for prospective students with an entrance qualification for a university of applied sciences or a subject-specific university entrance qualification
If you have an entrance qualification for a university of applied sciences or a subject-specific university entrance qualification that is recognized in Baden-Württemberg, and you want to start your studies in a Bachelor's program not included in your qualification, then you can obtain a general university entrance qualification for a Bachelor’s program by successfully taking an advancement test (Delta examination).
If you have an entrance qualification for a university of applied sciences or a subject-specific university entrance qualification that does not include the right to study in the degree program you would like, then you will have to show proof that you passed the Delta examination when applying. You will be asked during the online application if you have passed the Delta examination, and you can upload the documentation as a file.
The Delta examination takes place once each year at the University of Mannheim for all universities.
