Economics Mastery Starts with Your Skills and Passion

Our Master's in Economics program is designed for those interested in economic theories and their impact on society. An ideal candidate will have a solid academic foundation, particularly strong quantitative and mathematical skills, essential for understanding and applying complex economic concepts. Eagerness for in-depth learning and active engagement in challenging topics is crucial. Proficiency in English is a must to participate fully in our English-taught coursework and discussions. Formal requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Economics or a related area with a standard period of study of at least 3 years.

Applicants who have earned a Bachelor's degree from outside the European Union, Iceland, or Norway are required to submit either:

  • a GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) score of at least 600 points
  • or a GRE (Graduate Record Examination Test) score of at least 300 points.

Language skills

  • You need an English language level of at least "English B2".
  • If you want to study in the double Master's programme, French and Italian language skills are an advantage.

You can study the International Business and Economics Master’s program entirely in English and thus develop your language skills in various subject areas. The Economics Master’s degree program has a strong research focus. In the first semester, you will learn about and apply quantitative research methods. Furthermore, you are required to write a business or economics seminar paper and Master’s thesis in order to complete your degree.

  • a Bachelor's degree in Economics or a related area with a standard period of study of at least 3 years

    Applicants who have earned a Bachelor's degree from outside the European Union, Iceland, or Norway are required to submit either a GMAT* score of at least 600 points, which must include a minimum of 38 points in Quantitative Reasoning or a GRE** score of at least 300 points, which must include a minimum of 150 points in Quantitative Reasoning.
