Herzog von Württemberg Scholarships

The House of Württemberg has endowed scholarships at the University of Hohenheim for exceptionally gifted graduates in all faculties to carry out a research project abroad (preferably outside Europe) shortly before completing their Master’s degree, e.g. as part of their Master’s thesis.

What is funded? Funding for research stays as part of the Master’s thesis at universities outside Europe (preferred). The funding for stays abroad is intended to enable scholarship holders to “acquire or expand their ability to better assess the opportunities and difficulties of cooperation and competition in business, academia and society in their own and other countries.”
Who is eligible? Regularly enrolled Master’s students in all faculties at the University of Hohenheim with German citizenship who are nearing graduation (Bachelor’s students and graduates who are no longer members of the University of Hohenheim are not eligible).
What does the scholarship consist of? The scholarship serves to (partially) finance travel and/or living expenses for up to six months. The funding amounts are based on the country-specific rates set by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) for the PROMOS program.
Application procedure The application must be sent by email to outgoing@ua.uni-hohenheim.de.
