Studies with growing pigs on ileal digestibility of amino acids in wheat

The study aims as part of the joint project GrainUP to determine standardized ileal digestibilities of protein and amino acids in different cultivars of wheat using growing pigs fitted with a T-cannula at the distal ileum. The in vivo data are used to complete exiting feed tables, to validate in vitro data and to establish regression equations for estimates of digestible contents of amino acids in wheat.
