Selection procedure

The University of Hohenheim carries out its own selection procedure for degree programs that have a limited number of places.

90% of the university places available for each degree program are allocated according to the university’s own selection procedure (selection quota). This is done on the basis of selection criteria set out in the admission regulations of the degree programs.

The university takes into account at least one academic and one extracurricular criterion. (e.g., Abitur grade, weighted individual grades relevant to the degree program, completed vocational training, internships, voluntary work, awards...)

All data required for the selection process is collected via the online application.
