Constituted Student Body
Members of the constituted student body include all students enrolled at the University including enrolled doctoral candidates. The members of the student body have the right to elect representatives for various committees (the large Faculty Councils, the Senate, and the Student Parliament) and the obligation to pay fees.
At the University of Hohenheim, the constituted student body is responsible for various tasks:
- discerning the university-political, subject-area, interdisciplinary, social, economic, and cultural needs of the students
- participating in University tasks
- promoting political education and civic responsibility among students
- promoting equality and removing disadvantages within the student body
- promoting students’ athletic activities
- maintaining national and international student relations
