There may be circumstances that delay a person from obtaining their university entrance qualification. Applicants will then have less waiting time. In this case, the waiting period is taken into account on using an earlier date for the university entrance qualification for the calculations. The applicants concerned can then participate in the award procedure with the waiting period that would probably have been reached without the delays.
Proof of the reason for the application (e.g. prolonged illness) is not in itself sufficient for the application to be recognized. It must also be proven that this reason has delayed the person from obtaining their university entrance qualification. For this purpose, you must submit a certificate from the school stating the reason for and duration of the delay, as well as any other supporting documents that you can use to prove the circumstances of the delay. Without the relevant documents, the application cannot be processed.
