Succession procedure

Not all applicants who are admitted to the program will accept the spot.

The places that become available will be awarded to applicants next on the ranking list who have not yet received a place.

If you are granted a place in the succession procedure, you will receive a notification of admission via the applicant portal.
Admissions in the succession procedure will be issued at the earliest after the enrollment deadline for the first admission round.

Degree programs in the DoSV:
For the winter semester 2024/25, the University will not participate in the coordinated succession process via Hochschulstart. Should there still be free places for DoSV programs and applicants who have not been admitted after the end of the procedure, the University of Hohenheim will carry out its own succession procedure.
