Volunteer service

Service includes, for example, federal voluntary service, voluntary social year, voluntary ecological year, voluntary social year in culture and politics, development aid service of at least two years, etc.

If you want to do a service year after you graduate from high school, you can apply for a study place before or during your service.

If you are admitted to the program, you can finish the service first. It is important to keep the admission letter. You can then reapply for this study place by the second application date after the end of your service at the latest and will be given priority admission to the program ("advance admission").
