Science Speed Matching for doctoral candidates: In Hohenheim there are currently almost 1,200 doctoral candidates. Often the candidates only know colleagues from their own department and possibly the departments with rooms close to theirs. Colleagues from other institutes are only known by sight - even though the research areas might be similar. This means there is a great deal of untapped potential for joint research and publications. To find potential co-authors, make contacts for various research questions, and find partners for project submissions and grant proposals as well as to get to know better the research done at the University, this scientific speed matching will take part during the anniversary Festive Week. Based on the principle of business speed dating, the participants can exchange information on their research in just a few minutes before moving on to the next person in the rotation.
