Program in April 2021

Topic of the month:

Biobased products and co. - Alternatives for the future

Whether insulating material, chemical base materials for the production of plastics, or bio-herbicides: Renewable raw materials such as the biomass grass miscanthus offer many alternatives to crude oil or coal. Many by-products can also be used within the framework of a bio-based economy without competing with food production.
Off-topic events complement the thematic focus.

Unless otherwise noted, all events are held in German.

Businesses, start-ups, associations, and researchers will meet online on April 20-27, 2021, at the digital cooperation forum organized by the Forschungskreis der Ernährungsindustrie e.V. (FEI).

The meeting will focus on the potential of the digital transformation for the industry with the aim of providing ideas for new Industrial Cooperative Research (IGF) projects. There is a high demand for research intended for application, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises - so that not only the big players can profit from Big Data.

Prof. Jörg Hinrichs and Dr. Viktoria Zettel from the Institute of Food Science and Biotechnology will provide insights into their research work at the University of Hohenheim during the RDI Cooperation Forum.
